Web and Graphic Design

Objectives:
Students will learn basic html coding and the process for creating a web site.
or
Students will learn how to create 3D objects (Cheetah) and create 3D animations (Alice)

Do Now: Study Island (10 questions math or English)

When Scratch is complete (Mice & Men or Poetry animation), post it to the SCRATCH website and EMAIL me the URL. (mirandagt2012@gmail.com)

NEXT PROJECT: CHOICE of Web Design or 3D Graphic Design

Web Design:

1. Create an account on weebly.com
2. Experiment with adding frames and the templates

Web Site Options

• Design a site honoring an artist or art form. Info on artists HERE
• Choose a topic in American History, especially Civil War, and create an informational site
  
• Create a fictional business and a web site to promote it.
  

3D Graphics Options

• Open Alice (Class of 2012 folder) and watch the tutorial. Create a short animation.
• Download and install CHEETAH 3D and watch the tutorials.

Assessment:
Projects will be graded
Fri. March 12 (Period 1 M-Z and Period 4)
Fri March 19 (Period 1 A-L and Period 2)
